Parlay odds are calculated by multiplying the decimal odds of each leg together. For example, two legs at 1.91 each produce combined decimal odds of 3.65 (1.91 × 1.91). The potential payout is your stake multiplied by the combined odds.
Decimal odds (e.g. 1.91) represent the total return including your stake. Moneyline odds (e.g. -110) represent profit relative to $100. Both formats describe the same probability — FanScout converts them automatically. Parlay math is simplest in decimal: just multiply all legs together.
Same-game parlays (SGPs) are allowed on DraftKings and FanDuel, but each sportsbook applies its own correlation rules. FanScout's parlay builder helps you identify the strongest props by hit rate — always verify the final parlay is accepted on your chosen sportsbook.
Hit rates show what percentage of recent games a player exceeded their prop line. Combining legs with consistently high L5 and L10 hit rates reduces variance and improves the probability that all legs of your parlay hit. Aim for legs above 60% over the last 10 games.
Yes. Both DraftKings and FanDuel offer player prop parlays, including same-game parlays and cross-game parlays. Limits and availability vary by state and event. FanScout shows odds from both books so you can compare before placing.
A push (the result exactly equals the line) is treated as a void on most sportsbooks — the leg is removed and the remaining legs pay out at the reduced odds. Always check your sportsbook's specific push rules before placing a parlay.
FanScout has no limit on the number of legs you can add to the parlay builder. In practice, each additional leg multiplies the difficulty of the parlay hitting. Most winning prop parlays contain 2–5 well-researched legs.
